What we collect, and why

We do not profile you, we do not make automated decisions about you, and we do not sell or share your data with anyone for their own purposes.
Cookies and tracking
There is no analytics on this site, no advertising pixel and no tracking cookie, which is why you were not asked to accept anything.
Your basket is stored in your own browser using localStorage. It holds which products you added and how many. It never reaches our server until you check out, and it holds no prices and nothing about you.
Fonts are served from this site rather than from a font CDN, so loading a page does not send your IP address to a third party.
The restock list
Signing up stores your address, the moment you agreed, the exact sentence you agreed to, and the IP address the form came from. The last three exist so we can show that you asked to be on the list, which is what the law requires of anyone keeping one.
We are not sending anything yet. When we do, the first message will ask you to confirm, and you will only ever hear from us again if you do. To come off the list before then, email us and we will mark you unsubscribed.
Who else processes your data
- Mollie B.V., our payment processor. They handle the payment itself and hold their own relationship with you for that purpose.
- Hetzner Online GmbH, where this site and its database run, on servers in the EU.
- Our carrier, who receives the name and address needed to deliver the parcel and nothing else.
- Resend, which sends our order confirmation and shipping emails. It receives your email address, name, delivery address and what you ordered, only to deliver those emails, from servers in the EU.
Orders are handled by the small team behind 7Seas TCG, who see your name, address and order only to pack and send it, and are bound to keep it confidential.
Your data is stored in the European Economic Area. Resend is a company based in the United States; where any data leaves the EEA through them, it is covered by their data processing agreement and the EU's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Orders, invoices and the records behind them are kept for seven years, because Dutch tax law requires it. Server logs are kept for a short period and then discarded. Anything we are not required to keep is deleted when it is no longer needed for the order.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to our use of it, or ask for it in a portable form. Email us and we will answer within a month.
Deletion has one limit: we cannot delete records we are legally required to keep for seven years. We will tell you which parts those are.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled this, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or to the authority in your own EU country.
